Best coffee and delightful small place with English ambience and food. Strongly recommend to see while you are in Hampton Court area.

Five At The Bridge

This is an informal rustic cafe that serves scrumptious food created by the owner and assisted by a wonderful chef. The serving staff are always pleasant and anxious to ensure you have an enjoyable visit. The portions are generous and there is no rush to finish. The cafe has recently been extended to include an attractive conservatory that leads to a tree shaded garden. There is always a warm welcome and local people are only too pleased to engage you in conversation.

After weeks of meticulous alteration the Orangerie is now open and what a fabulous place it is. Warm, inviting, calm oasis, sheer joy. To sit with coffee and a newspaper for a while transports you to a time almost forgotten. With the addition of a hot, steaming bowl of flavoursome freshly made fish chowder for lunch. Life really doesn&#39;t get much better than this. Love 5@ the bridge. There are some negative comments on here which do not, in my experience, give a true reflection of the establishment. If you want a sterilesed, swift service outlet that serves food that&#39;s produced miles away and then just reheated or microwaved then maybe best you try a dull multi national. You need to just spend some time and try and get the vibe of this wonderful cafe. Enjoy.

The lunch was excellent with good choices, the staff were friendly and we would definitely return.  A very good location after a visit to Hampton Court.
